Queensbury Summer Sports Performance Program - Summer 2021
Queensbury Summer Sports Performance Program will optimize your athletic ability, maximize performance, and reduce the potential risk for injury.
The comprehensive summer training program will build self-confidence, increase muscular strength and endurance, enhance explosive power, and improve flexibility, speed, and agility. This program is open to anyone in Grades 4 - 12 who is interested in gaining a better understanding of his or her own personal performance.
All participants will perform workouts designed to increase mobility, speed, movement efficiency, strength, and power. All programming is based upon solidifying foundational movement, as well as enhancing all areas to optimize performance.
Participants will meet the supervisors every session in the Queensbury High School Weight Room during designated times to begin their session.
Evening sessions (Mondays and Wednesdays) will primarily be speed, agility, and body coordination based.
Program Supervisors: John Martin, CSCS Sports Performance Coordinator, and Matt Crossman, Head Football Coach
