Bensons' BFR
We are thrilled to offer this unique, one-of-a-kind program and partner with our friends at Benson’s Pet Center!

A Benson’s educator will discuss the care and handling of your child’s new pet — a Betta Fish! Children will learn about proper care and the responsibility of caring for a new member of the family! They will set up a tank and bring it home with a Betta. To make transport easier and safer for the fish, they will bring the tank home with no water and the Betta in a cup (all in a box for
carrying)

COVID19 REQUIREMENTS
  • All participants must wear face masks and provide their own
  • Participants should take their temperature before leaving for the program. If a participant’s temperature reads 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, they will be disallowed from participation in the program.
  • All participants will be socially distanced
  • Upon entry to the program, participants will have their temperature (non-touch) taken and a brief COVID-19 assessment completed
  • Participants will use hand sanitizer at entry/exit points and throughout the program, as needed
  • Only registered participants will be allowed to enter the programming areas.

Program Information
  • Included will be care sheets, a small tank, substrate (gravel) for the tank, deco items for inside the tank, starter food, a Betta fish, and a coupon valued at $5 for a future purchase for your wonderful, new pet fish!
  • Kids can bring special deco items from home, too.
  • Small, plastic figurines make great tank additions.
  • Children under 8 years old must bring a parent. This is a GREAT VALUE, TOO!
