Drama Camp: Farm Fun!

Spending time on a farm can be fun…but acting out a farm story is even better!

During the week-long program, we will bring stories to life creating scripts, dialogue, costumes, props, and scenery for a Parent’s Performance at 11:00 am on the last day. Using a central theme of Farm stories, children will participate in multiple activities including warm up activities to learn Actors’ Techniques and create projects to be utilized in the final show. Children will be engaged daily in multiple hands-on activities, culminating in their final performance.
Children are encouraged to wear “working clothes.” Being creative can be a little messy.

The Department enthusiastically welcomes back Nicole Maney, Camp Instructor, this summer for another exceptional program!

Program Information
  • Nicole is a NYS Certified Teacher in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degreein Reading Education, she is a K-2 teacher at the Green Meadow Elementary School in East Greenbush, Channel 13 Teacher of the Week, and an After School Enrichment Coordinator from 2003-2011.
  • This will be Nicole’s 10th year of directing Drama Camp and 13th year of offering summer camp rograms with the Department!
  • The camp has been such a big hit with children (and parents, too) each summer!
