Art & Science Craft Camps

These art  classes are not only a blast, but allow children to express themselves creatively and  learn about different forms of art. Join us to bring out the artist in your child and let’s have some creative fun!

NOTE: Please have your child wear old clothes or bring a smock. Being creative can be messy!

Program Information
  • Please send your child with a nut-free snack and drink each day.
  • Note to parents: For your child’s safety, please inform the Department Staff, at the time of registration, and the instructor of any known allergies that exist for your child!
  • NOTE: Please use the QES back parking lot entrance — 2nd Grade Wing.

Recycled Robots - August 12
  • Create colorful and fun robot sculptures out of wood, metal, and other found materials.
  • Add color, sparkle, and personality to these crafty little bot buddies.
  • All materials provided.

Silly Sock Alien - August 13
  • Use colorful socks and scraps to make a funky little alien creature.
  • Cute or creepy, deck it out with buttons, beads, yarn, and some silly style.
  • All materials provided.

Plant Print Shirts & Bags - August 14
  • Spatter, splat, and design!
  • Use natural elements like leaves, rocks, sticks, and flowers to create colorfully layered prints on a shirt and reusable canvas bag.
  • Dress for mess.
  • All materials provided.

Out of this World Space Painting - August 15
  • Use gravity, bubbles, and a little bit of sizzle to make a cool space inspired painting.
  • Artists will create planets, stars, and swirling galaxies with sparkles and color.
  • Dress for mess.
  • All materials provided.
