Woman Rock-climbing Mountain Face
We are excited to offer this fantastic program, featuring two popular elements that kids love — engineering and climbing! We partner with Mad Science and RockSport to bring this awesome opportunity to your child!

Children will be structural engineers and build a project to new heights, enjoy a snack which is provided, and have a blast as they rock climb to reach new heights!

Program Specifics:
  • TOWERS – BRIXOLOGY LEGO®:
  • Reach for the sky! Find out how structural engineers use ideas from physics to solve problems. Work together to build a structurally sound tower with a working elevator, then test and improve your design for strength and stability. A take-home is provided for our young engineers.
  • ROCK CLIMBING:
  • Children will learn basic skills, techniques, and climbing strategy. Rocksport instructors will be monitoring the children as they have so much fun climbing at the spectacular, state-of-the-art Rocksport facility!

Additional Program Information
  • All material, supplies, and a snack are included.
  • Note to parents: For your child’s safety, please inform the Department Staff, at the time of registration, and the instructor of any known allergies that exist for your child!
  • It will be a great afternoon for the kids! Let’s ROCK this perfect combo!
  • Please Note: the completion of a Rocksport waiver is required.
