These art classes are not only a blast, but allow children to express themselves creatively and learn about different forms of art. Join us to bring out the artist in your child and let’s have some creative fun!

The Department is excited to have Queensbury Elementary School Teacher, Jennifer Spath, joining us this summer to lead these great programs!

Grade for the 2018-19 school year


Junior Jewelers - Program Information
  • Learn some new, crafty techniques to create some wearable and gift-worthy jewelry pieces. Make a colorful summer pendant rolling your own polymer clay pendant and decorate shrink film to create a playfully modern necklace or bracelet.
  • All supplies included.

Fairy House Crafting - Program Information
  • Pebbles, pinecones, pretty little beads. Mushrooms, moss and ‘magination. Bring a little bit of magic into your garden (or home) while you craft a creatively detailed fairy house. Use natural materials and some craft items, too, to bring the sparkle.
  • All supplies included.

Colorful Clay Chimes - Program Information
  • Do you hear what I hear? Create some beautiful slab built clay wind chimes to add color and song to any porch or tree. Use colorful glazes to add personality and fun to your choice of clay chime pieces. Then, design your beaded hangers to complete your wind chime.
  • All supplies included.

Additional Information
  • Please send your child with a snack and drink each day.
  • Note to parents: For your child’s safety, please inform the Department Staff, at the time of registration, and the instructor of any known allergies that exist for your child!
  • NOTE: Please use the QES back parking lot entrance — 2nd Grade Wing.
  • Please have your child wear old clothes or bring a smock.
