Mindfulness for Students
  • In this fun, activity-packed, 3-session program, children will learn tools to help them cope with anxiety, fear, and restlessness and to allow them to find more joy in their lives. Kids will practice techniques to help them fall asleep more easily, quiet a busy mind, relax before a test, and prepare for a sporting event. A portion of each session will be spent walking quietly along a forest trail. Outdoor activities will teach children to reconnect with nature and to get more enjoyment out of their time outside.
  • In today’s busy world more is asked of our children than ever before. Modern technology is bombarding them with world news, interrupting their social activities, and disrupting their sleep schedules. Kids are becoming overwhelmed as they are saddled with adult worries at an age where they don’t have the skills to deal with them. Hanging out with Beth for a few hours will equip them with tools to help them navigate these challenging times.
  • Please Note: Light walking and appropriate footwear is needed. We will be walking in nature to practice techniques.
  • This program will have positive benefits for your child and he or she will enjoy learning these valuable techniques, too!
