The Department is delighted to host the The Churney Gurney 5-mile Trail Race and Mountain Bike Race at our superb Gurney Lane Recreation Area facility and trail system!

General Information
  • The bike races are for all ages, featuring three (3) race categories with different difficulty levels in addition to a Kids’ Race.
  • All race proceeds will benefit the Under the Woods Foundation, a foundation that hosts a local Summer Camp for children on the Autism Spectrum or other Social Language Disorders.
  • The Grey Ghost Bicycles of Glens Falls (206 Glen Street, Website: greyghostbicycles.com ), a race sponsor, will be on hand to provide bike support.
  • Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the races.
  • Please join us for a wonderful morning in the park and support this important cause! You can make a difference!
